Merci beaucoup!
Merci beaucoup! Je adore votre videos. Merci beaucoup!
Love this format <3 Love the "formal vs informal" aspect too!
😂 I'm going to learn German so that I can understand to mouth stash guy from ww2
If someone uses "appeller" to ask your name (Comment tu t'appelles?), is it required to use that verb in your answer (Je m'appelle Martin) or could you use another verb (Moi, c'est Martin)?
Excellent question! I would naturally rephrase the question, but you don't have to at all. - Comment tu t'appelles, en fait ? - Ah moi, c'est Julien ! - What was your name, by the way? - Ah yeah, I'm Julien !
I am gonna learn French after I am fluent in English and Spanish. So I am gonna keep your lectures 👍
I was thinking of learning Spanish after French haha
Hi, big bong! Your channel really helps me! I usually got frustrated I didn’t make to progress learning languages. But I realized I should be patient. I’m learning English and Spanish. Both of them are very different to my mother tongue, Korean. It is what it is, I am gonna try harder. Hope u continue your wonderful journey!:)
Thank you for your kind comment. I hope my videos can be useful and I wish you all the best in your learning journey!
This app is awful. It became political, where it banned users who spoke out about the genocide in Gaza
donner un role de francais a un israeli meme pas francophone... on comprend rien a ce qu'il dit... quel honte! comme si on n'avait pas assez d'acteurs vraiment francophones.
💆🏻♂️💯
Il est trop fort
Tu me plais < Je t’aime bien < Je t’aime beaucoup < Je t’aime 😅
I am Chinese, but I must add that Mandarin is like the concept of ‘classes’ in programming languages, where each character is a class. You can freely combine multiple characters, so this language system has a very powerful capability: people can understand the meaning of a new word without explanation. For example, ‘星期一’ is ‘Monday’ in English, which is a noun. In fact, Chinese can be broken down: ‘星期’ means ‘week,’ and ‘一’ means ‘one.’ Suppose there is a planet where they have an eight-day week. In English, you would need to create a new word, like ‘balabaladay,’ and explain to people that it means the eighth day of the week. But in Chinese, you only need to change ‘一’ to ‘八,’ which means ‘eight,’ and then people can understand the meaning of the new word without explanation. Therefore, a highly free language system can lead to increased learning difficulty. Chinese has a phenomenon: it’s hard to get started, but once you get it, everything becomes clear
Les français de France sont bin nul à chier en pick up
Quebecois wins for me, just because he speaks slower and more clearly, so I could understand "you are pretty" and "can I have your number" with my crappy French 😅. Didn't catch anything from what the French guy said.
I lived in khemisset it is very beautyfull i miss my country❤
Now, let's see...to say "I wanna do you" in Japanese like a yakuza, I just have to...
very helpful, thank you!!!
Chinese, Korean and Japanese is NOT as closely related as what people think.
PLEASE PLEASE DO MEXICAN! IT WOULD WORK SO WELL PLEAAAAASE (Sorry caps)
Like I do wanna learn all 3 of them but I wanna start with Japanese you know what I mean? I wanna study in Japan!!! I wanna live a part of my life in that country for a really long time! I wanna experience living in Korea too but yk if yk. But the thing is that the last clip he showed made me realise that rn I connect with korean the most. Prolly because I am into kpop for really long time now (4 or 5 year! Damn I didn't realise it till now)
I think the French accent is more fancy, but the Québecois accent is more friendly, sing-songy and down to earth.
I amm sooo impressed with your language skills! I'm sure you get this a lot, but was it hard to learn so many languages?
I'm far from fluent in all the languages I study. I'd say that language learning is long and sometimes frustrating rather than hard per se. It takes discipline and a little bit of practice everyday. I should give a more elaborate answer in another video 😊
"ben" can be translated obviously
Obviously = évidemment
Note that "Bien sûr" is often ironic depending of the context and the tone of the voice. "Bien entendu" is rarely ironic since it's less popular (my theory)
Bah ?
bahwouai
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuh
Lol next video "rhoooo" 😂
olalala tout de suite les clichés
We use it when something is obvious
Nan vraiment pas plutôt wesh et fin et euh
Oulah bah c'est peut-être parisien alors parceque je l'entend tout le tout ou bien peut-être que t'es tout simplement très jeune
@@truth5371 si tu le dit
Ben quin, mon tjo père.....
Ben is a short for bien I think
I believe so too. It's likely a contraction, as in the following examples: ▸ Eh bien, dis donc ! ▸ Eh ben, dis donc ! ▸ Ben dis donc !
It is hard to learn Japanese just like learning Arabic. I like it.
There's wesh
Pfft. 😅
I think that what shocked me the most coming back to France are the " bah" , the " euh", in addition to all our daily slangs / verlan ( some from 100 years ago and brand new ones you don't get just after 18 months abroad 😂)
Tell me about it! There should already be a dictionary specifically for verlan 😅
as a frenchie, i confirm we never say "comme ci comme ça", we'd say mouais or "ça va" with a certain intonation

bonus tip : "j'ai envie de toi" which also translates "i want you" is only sexual ! so be careful :)
Fair point! As long as people studying French understand that the expressions taught in this video can also be used in non-romantic contexts, as in "I need you at the office tomorrow" or "I want you in my football team."
